WE DO FEET SEMINARS' INSTRUCTOR OUTLINE

The Leading Foot Zoning School Since 2001

Class 2 Outline

💡 CLASS 2 OVERVIEW: Building Confidence

Theme: "Validate, Validate, Validate!"

Goal: Class 2 is all about edifying your students and fine-tuning technique—without piling on new complexity. Keep everything simple so confidence goes up and overwhelm goes down. You’ll also introduce basic mindset coaching around validating clients.

Instructor Objectives:
  • Reinforce wins from Class 1 and normalize beginner mistakes.

  • Correct a few high-leverage technique details- things that are important to be accurate on like the Ovary Signal and Sciatic Nerve.

  • Model clear, kind validation language students can mirror with clients.

  • Keep any intro to muscle testing/energy work extremely simple and optional.(they might not be ready to jump both feet into muscle testing/energy work yet).

Instructor Objectives: By the end of Class 2, students should...
  • Feel encouraged, seen, and capable of completing the course.

  • Have a few Area 1 technique tweaks, if needed, to practice during the month.

  • Know simple phrases to validate clients.

  • Leave refreshed—not overloaded.

CONTINUED EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES & CLASS SCHEDULES

🗓️ DAY 1: Validation, Connection, and Correction

1. Welcome Students:

Welcome and invite them to share stories, experiences, and questions from their month of practicing Area 1. Celebrate those who met their goals, and kindly encourage and uplift those who didn’t. Build excitement for the day's learning.

2. Bone Quiz:

The Bone Quiz an be found in the Student Workbook in the Class 2 section. Fill in and complete the quiz together as a class. *Tip* be sure to really focus on explaining the metatarsals and phalanges since they will be used as landmarks a lot in this class.

3. Review Anatomy Homework:

Keep it simple and teach in your own style. We recommend not doing an anatomy deep dive yet. Instead, lay a strong foundation using the Holistic Anatomy book so you can build on it with the foot zone anatomy systems in later classes.

5. Review Area 1 Signal:

If students have questions about Area 1 signals, take a few minutes to address them. If time allows, have students swap and practice Area 1 with each other. By now they should complete Area 1 quickly, so use this time to focus on accuracy and precision.

LUNCH BREAK

4. Watch Landmark Video:

You’re welcome to use the Landmark Videos for Area 2 in Google Classroom. If you joined the class last month (Class 1), you won’t need to sign in again—just open Area 2. You may also assign these videos for students to watch later as homework. You are not required to show these in class, but you are welcome to if time permits.

7. Lecture – Begin Presentation & Workbook:

Explanation of Area 2 techniques.

8. Validation Video:

For the final 30 minutes, show the YouTube Validation video. Afterward, spend a few minutes discussing the true meaning of becoming a Foot Zone Therapist. Keep it light—end on a high note with something to ponder overnight. You might ask, “Why are you here?” or “What part of foot zoning are you most drawn to?” Invite them to reflect now and be ready to share more tomorrow.

7. End-of-Day Homework:

Challenge students to validate someone in their life that evening. Ask them to offer one clear, honest validation and come prepared to share about it the next morning.

🗓️ DAY 2: Application, Integration & Intentional Practice

1. Review & Reflect: Open with a quick check-in on last night’s validation challenge. Invite a few shares, then highlight how validation builds safety and trust. Model two or three phrases, celebrate effort, normalize any missteps, and connect it back to Foot Zone outcomes. This is a great time to share experiences and why you are passionate about helping your clients come into balance.

2. Bob Proctor: You Were Born Rich:

Review and discuss Chapters 1–2 of You Were Born Rich. Lead a focused, productive conversation and have students read the Key Concepts form from the textbook as you go.

3. Class 2 Quiz:

Complete the Class 2 Quiz. Essay responses aren’t needed. This worksheet will serve as a study guide for the final exam. Please refer to Class 1 lecture pages in the Student Workbook, if you needed.

4. Hands-On Demonstration and Instruction:

Instructor explains and demonstrates every movement and position of Area 2 slowly and clearly. Tie in the 12 Guidelines at this time. Consider recording a private Facebook Live or video for review.

The Right Foot demonstration should be slow and intentional, allowing students to clearly observe each movement and understand the technique step by step. When you move on to the Left Foot, aim for a more fluid and natural flow, demonstrating how the signals and hand movements begin to work together in rhythm.

This second foot is a great opportunity to show just how simple and approachable the zone can be. It helps ease any overwhelmed students that may be feeling nervous and reminds them that confidence will grow with practice.

If time permits, you can demonstrate Area 1 prior to Area 2.

LUNCH BREAK

5. Introduction to Muscle Testing:

Please remember to keep it simple. This is an introduction to muscle testing only. We recommend starting out with the Sway test.

Some important concepts to remember when teaching:

-What a muscle test is: a confirmation of what the body and spirit already knows. It is not required to Foot Zone, however, it can be a great tool to help as you are gaining a relationship with your intuition.

-Gaining permission

-What is appropriate and what is not appropriate to muscle test for

-Work with light and truth

-Beware of personal opinions and bias

-Never predict the future

-Help students identify their energetic "language". How does their body want to communicate with them?

6. Assign Homework:

Review Class 2 Homework Checklist. Reminder, homework can be done in the book OR on Google Classrooms.

7. Set the Tone for At Home Practice:

Encourage high practice numbers with a casual and confident tone. Encourage higher numbers. Ideally, each student should aim for 20-40 zones prior to next class. Your tone and expectations will help them succeed and set the tone for the remaining classes. As an instructor you will need to celebrate their success while understanding the times they may have less zone numbers, but in a tactful and supportive way. Have students commit to how many practice zones they will complete before Class 3.

8. Practice Area 2:

Allow students time to practice zoning Area 2. Be sure to provide supportive feedback and guidance. Try not to over critique at this point.  Remember intention overrules technique.

✅ Instructor Notes & Suggestions:

Emotional connection is key—STORIES matter. Flexibility is okay—know your destination and adapt your path. Create a safe, validating space. If drawing is delayed, ensure it's fully covered on Day 2. Homework check-in and discussion help reinforce learning. It’s a good practice to follow up privately with students a few days after class to see how they are doing. At the end of the day, remind students to make their payment and sign their attendance record.
